Journey to Fans Guest Information

I’m excited to have you as a guest on the Journey to Fans podcast. This page contains everything you need to get scheduled and set up for recording day.

To start, click the button below to schedule your interview. There are a few days a month that I record episodes. If the open days or times don’t work for you, please reach out via email with your availability and we’ll work something out.

After you’ve booked and filled out the accompanying form, you’re good to go! You’ll receive a Zoom link via email and we’ll go from there.

PREPPING FOR THE INTERVIEW

At your scheduled time, we’ll jump on Zoom and record from there. We’ll chat before hitting record and we’ll go where the conversation takes us. Once we start recording, I’ll begin with a quick introduction based on your bio and lead you through the episode with the conversation topics.

The conversation will be recorded with both audio and video. We’ll publish the audio for the podcast, but may use the video as well for content marketing. Only content in the final episode will be used.

And don’t worry, if something happens that you don’t want in the final episode, we’ll edit it out!

TIME COMMITMENT

Most episodes are around 20-30 minutes long, but the interview slot is for an hour just in case.

AUDIO EQUIPMENT?

You don’t need any additional audio equipment.  As long as the audio quality is clear and there’s no feedback, we’re good!

If you plan on using a mic attached to your headphones, make sure your hair won’t be brushing against it. If you’d like to run a quick test, open QuickTime on your computer and record yourself saying a few words. Listen back with the audio turned up a bit more than normal. If your voice sounds clear and you don’t hear background noise or feedback, you’re good to go!

Please plan to wear headphones during the interview so we don’t have an echo.

ANYTHING ELSE?

Be sure to have your phone on silent before we start. We can edit out any extra sounds, but I don’t want it to throw you off in the middle of an amazing point!
